Network Marketing and The Most Efficient Use of Your Time

Are you using your time in the best way possible? Growing your team and making sales are both very important. How do you get both accomplished? I try to use the equal thirds method. Whether it's my day, my week or my quarter, I try to divide my time into equal thirds that contain recruiting, training and sales.

Be totally dedicated to building a hugely successful business based on relationships that last. True success is born from sharing. If people offer you their help or wisdom as you go through life, accept it gratefully. You can learn much from those who have gone before you.

Teaching vs. Selling an Internet Marketer Can Only Choose One

OK, so it's been a little while now and my exposure and following are both growing daily. I try to understand how being transparent and open really makes this happen. I mean are this many people really that interested in what I have to say? Certainly not. Is my website or name just that intriguing?

Maybe it's some form of the animal instinct we all have, transformed into an ability to detect BS online that frightens me. I don't want people to visit me online and take me for some sort of hype man or callous salesperson who uses scare tactics and mind games. That was my previous life. My effort is to remain as transparent and honest as I can while I teach everything I know to my online associates.

Now it goes without saying that compensation is important BUT how do you let people who can't look you in the eyes know that you are truly just like them? I mean there are tons of stories out there about the unemployed, MBA who was ousted from his corner office and now owns the building, or the soccer mom who started out looking for uniform money and now takes a limo to her kids soccer game OR (my personal favorite) the guy who had no clue about feeding his family UNTIL......... I think you understand where I'm going. How do you keep it real without sounding like an infomercial?

I often find that I will flee from a page that is touted as being a resource as soon as I feel like I am being sold something. SO, my challenge is to not become "that guy". All of the gurus that I follow constantly harp on the importance of "quality content". Maybe that's it. Maybe by giving away tons of information that is useful and immediately effective one becomes a teacher and not a salesperson. I mean everybody holds teachers in high regards don't they?

Maybe the secret is teaching everyone who inquires, everything I know about it all. The whole ball of wax right out there on the table. But what happens when I've shared it all? Maybe by giving it all away as soon I learn, I guarantee that there's always room for me to grow.

Hmm.....
